Lord let your blessing fall in surprising ways out of the closeness of your Spirit to save and to enable; speak to the frailty and limitedness of my soul in the power of your Spirit and through the gift of your hope given in knowing Jesus, crucified in the forgiveness of my sins.

Lord, you will surprise us when things are most barren, you will provide in the dry times - help me to keep praying for new life like Zechariah. Bring me into your holy places and astonish me at what you will give birth to. Prepare us for you; assure us in the astonishment of your presence. Confirm again the testimony of Christ in me; for you, who now calls me into fellowship, are faithful.
